'Rym yn dy erfyn Arglwydd mawr

1,3,(4);  1,2,3,4,5,6,7;  1,4,5,(3).
(I gymmanfa o Weinidogion neu Athrawon)
'Rym yn dy erfyn, Arglwydd mawr,
Disgyn o entrych nef i lawr,
  Hyd ysgol faith
      JEHOFAH'n Ddyn,
  'Roi bendith Jacob i bob un.

Fel ŵyn yn wirion gwna ni gyd,
Ym mhlith y bleiddiaid sy'n y byd;
  Ac fel y seirph yn gyfrwys gall,
  I wel'd a dadrys
      rhwydau'r fall.

Gad ini ddod i'r mynydd fry,
I'r cwmwl goleu atat ti,
  Fel y dysgleirio'n gwyneb pryd,
  Nes sỳnu Israel oll i gyd.

Gwna ni fel halen, trwy dy ras,
Yn wyn, yn beraidd iawn ei flas;
  Yn foddion yn dy law o hyd
  I dynu'r adflas sy ar y byd.

Pâr fod d'ogoniant pur dilyth
Yn nôd a diben ini byth;
  Dy fywyd hardd, a'th eiriau gwir,
  Yn wastad ini'n rheol bur.

Doed gogledd, de, a dwyrain bell,
I glywed y newyddion gwell;
  Aed sŵn d'efengyl,
      Iesu, maes
  Yn gylch oddeutu'r ddaear lâs.

O dod i ben, hwnw yw'r dydd,
Nid goleu ac nid tywyll fydd;
  Nid dydd, nid nos, (a Duw a'i gŵyr)
  Pan dardd goleuni yn yr hwyr.
William Williams 1717-91

  Gwna ni fel halen â Dy râs
  Newyddion braf a ddaeth i'n bro

(For an assembly of Ministers or Teachers)
We are beseeching thee, great Lord,
Descend from the vault of heaven down,
  Along the extensive ladder
      of JEHOVAH as Man,
  Give the blessing of Jacob to every one.

Like sheep truly make us all,
Amongst the wolves which are in the world;
  And like the serpents subtle, wise,
  To see and undo
      the bonds of the pestilence.

Let us come to the mountain above,
To the cloud of light unto thee,
  That the face of our countenance shine,
  Until surpriseing all Israel altogether.

Make us like salt, through thy grace,
White, very sweet its taste;
  Medicine in thy hand always
  To the distaste which is on the world.

Cause thy pure, unfailing glory to be
An aim and purpose in us forever;
  Thy beautiful life, and thy true words,
  Constantly in us as a pure rule.

May north, south and far east come,
To hear the better news;
  May the sound of the gospel,
      Jesus, go out
  As a circle around the blue-green earth.

O come to pass, this is the day,
Not light and not darkness shall be;
  Not day, not night, (and God knows it)
  When light springs forth in the evening.
tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion
